I started detailing on the side while I was studying automotive tech in college. After I graduated in May 2023, I took a private training course in paint correction and ceramic coating and went all-in. My partner Grayson came on shortly after. We’re both 24. We’re both fully in on this.
We’re not a dealership. We’re not a corporate chain. We’re an independent shop — and that’s the way we like it. It means we answer our own phones. We know every car and every face that comes through the door. And we care more about you getting real value out of what we do than we do about hitting a number.

Griffin grew up in Peoria with a wrench in one hand and a polisher in the other. He earned his automotive technology degree in May 2023 and immediately took specialized training in paint correction and ceramic coating from Ceramic Coating Inc. — one of the most respected installer certifications in the country. He founded O’Connor Detailing the same year with one goal: do the work right, talk to every customer like a neighbor, and never cut corners for the sake of speed.
Grayson runs the day-to-day operations at the shop and leads every paint correction project we take on. If your vehicle is getting polished, refined, or finished out — it’s going through Grayson’s hands. He’s meticulous, patient, and has the kind of eye for defects that comes from putting in real reps on real paint. Most days you’ll find him panel-by-panel under the inspection lights, calling out things most shops would miss.
